Wal Mart trip 1/29/09

My Mom called today wanting me to ride up town with her to pay her mortgage. I rode along, and not being ones to ever waste a trip, we stopped at Wal Mart. Luckily I had the forethought to bring my handy coupon organizer along. This is what I got...

Wal Mart:

2 Airwick freshmatic starter kits $6.00 each
used 2 manufacturer coupons {recent insert} for $5.00 off 1
Final price: $1.00 each

2 Parents Choice toddler wipes .97 cents each

Huggies wipes 32ct. $1.67
used $1.00 off 1 coupon from recent insert
Final price: .67 cents each

2 Scotch Brite heavy duty sponges $1.12 each
used $1.00 off 2 coupon from recent insert
Final price: .62 cents each

Kashi baked cereal bars $2.97 each
used $2.00 printable here http://www.mysavings.com/link-details/Kashi/7842/
Final price: .97 cents

Listerine mouthwash $3.42
used $2.00 printable coupon here http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qaepdcm1147403&bt=vg&o=54939&c=BJ&p=oXRhYqHs
Final price: $1.42 each

Subtotal {before coupons} $24.24
Out Of Pocket: $9.82
Total savings: $14.42

Not bad...
Note: I had to buy the freshmatic starter kits in 2 separate transactions because the coupon state you can only use one per transaction. I handed one kit and one coupon to my mom behind me along with the $1.00 plus tax.
